From Ron Gordon, Superintendent

As we begin the second semester of the 2009 – 2010 school year, I would like to take this opportunity to share with each of you the Vision, Mission, Beliefs and Goals of Craig County Public Schools as established by the Six-Year Planning Committee.

The Vision is to educate all students for the 21st Century.

Our Mission is to prepare our students to become responsible, contributing members of society by providing a challenging, rigorous educational program that maximizes academic achievement by enabling intellectual, physical, social and emotional development in an atmosphere which promotes creative and critical thinking.

Our beliefs are:

·         To build family involvement and community partnerships.
·         To provide technological resources to promote an effective learning environment for students and staff.

As this school division strives to meet our vision, mission, beliefs and goals, it is imperative that we all work as a team.  United, we can achieve our goals.
