Our Booster Club plays an important role in supporting our student-athletes, teams, coaches, and athletic programs—but we can’t do it without our community!

Council members will share their perspectives, thoughts, represent their peer group, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our school division. The council will provide valuable insight and promote voice in division-wide decision-making.

🚍 Assist with maintenance of school vehicles and equipment
🏫 Help prepare facilities for school events and activities
🦺 Identify and address safety hazards
🤝 Work independently and as part of the CCPS Facilities team

🎓 Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
🔧 Previous maintenance, grounds, cleaning, or related experience is a plus!

Our July employee of the month is always willing to jump in and do whatever is needed to support our schools and staff. Whether they are helping our ground crew by using a leaf blower to help get things ready, planning convocation, or making sure our new staff members feel welcomed and supported, this person never hesitates to help. They work behind the scenes on countless details that often go unnoticed but make a tremendous difference in keeping our division running smoothly. On a personal level, this person serves as my right hand, helping me stay organized, anticipating what needs to be done, and making my job easier every day by providing sound advice, historical perspective, and more importantly a safe space for me to be vulnerable. Their willingness to help wherever needed and her commitment to our staff and division often do not get the credit it deserves.
Craig County Public Schools is proud to recognize Mrs. Gerri VanDyke as our July Employee of the month. Mrs. VanDyke brings dedication and professionalism to CCPS and is a tremendous asset to our division and me personally.
Our June Employee of the Month made a noticeable impact on our schools in a relatively short amount of time. Whether working on our grounds, assisting with custodial needs, or simply stepping in wherever help was needed, this individual approached each task with a strong work ethic and a willingness to help. Their efforts helped keep our buildings and grounds clean, maintained, and ready for our students, staff, and community. While their time with CCPS was short, his hard work and contributions did not go unnoticed.

We are excited to welcome our students and families to Open House on Monday!
🏫 Open House — Grades 1st–12th
3:00 PM–6:00 PM
🎒 PK/K Orientation
10:00 AM–11:00 AM
PK/K Families: If you are attending the PK/K Orientation, please park in the front of the Middle/High School entrance and enter through those doors. Signs will be posted to direct you through the hallways to the auditorium.
🏐 Mandatory Athletics Meeting
Following Open House, we will have a mandatory Athletics Meeting at 6:00 PM.
The meeting will cover important information, including:
● Athletics rules and expectations
● Code of Conduct
● Concussion information and safety
● Other important information for student-athletes and families
All student-athletes and their parent/guardian are required to attend.
