Mrs. Childers and Mrs. McCoy coordinated an activity where our fifth graders presented their Native American homes and traditions projects to the fourth-grade classes. After presenting, the fifth graders held a Q&A session where students and teachers could ask questions as they explored the room.
Our fifth graders did an amazing job explaining what they learned, and the fourth graders were wonderful listeners—asking thoughtful questions and showing genuine curiosity. To wrap up, the fourth graders shared compliments to encourage and celebrate the hard work of the fifth graders. 💬💛
Both groups were excited, engaged, and so supportive of one another. We love seeing our students learning from each other! 🧡📚

Craig County Public Schools is proud to partner once again with the Craig County Department of Social Services to provide Christmas assistance to local families. This year, we have received over 50 applications, representing 109 children in our community. Currently, only half of these children have been sponsored.

When one of your high school seniors comes to you looking for help filling out a w-2/w-4 for a job and you know a little but you fear not enough. So you want nothing but the best for your students because well let's face it. You love them. What are you going to do? Hmmm maybe pick up the phone and call Jessica Huffman since she's the finance whiz. Leave it to sweet Mrs. Huffman to drop her previous plans and come as quickly as possible to your student and sit with them hand and hand as they complete the task! Thank you Mrs. Huffman for all you do.
