In the past year, I have seen phenomenal growth in my child. As a parent, it is devastating to see your child struggling academically and emotionally, and not be able to fix it.

Not only have my daughter’s grades come up, her confidence is soaring! I credit this solely to Ms. Tusing. She cares so much about her students and truly goes above and beyond to make sure all of their academic, physical, and emotional needs are met. I don’t know what we would do without her this year!

We’re Recruiting Substitute Bus Drivers — and we provide the training!

Looking for a rewarding way to serve our students and community? Craig County Public Schools is now accepting sign-ups for Substitute Bus Driver Training!

📅 Training Class – June 2026

📍 Location: Craig County Public Schools
🗓️ Exact dates will be announced after sign-ups are received

📚 Training Includes

✔️ 24 hours of classroom instruction
✔️ Behind-the-wheel driving experience
✔️ Hands-on preparation to safely transport our students

✅ Candidate Requirements

To be eligible, participants must have the following before the start of class:

Be at least 21 years of age

Obtain a Virginia DOE Driver Physical

Complete a drug test

Hold a CDL Learner’s Permit ( this can be obtained through the DMV )

Good evening, this is a reminder that Our Community Budget Conversation will take place today at 5:30 PM in the Craig County High School auditorium. We encourage all community members to attend, learn more about the proposed budget, and share your input.

Craig County Public Schools will be closed today Tuesday, March 17, 2026 (Employee Code 3) due to wintery weather conditions. Additionally, today will be a Virtual Learning day for all students. Elementary students need to complete work in their Virtual Learning Day packets. Middle/High School students need to complete their Virtual Learning Day lessons on their Chromebooks and stay in email contact with their teachers as needed.

Finally, meals (breakfast and lunch) will be provided to students at the CCPS Cafeteria from 11AM to 1PM today.
