Purpose
The Employee of the Month program is designed to recognize and celebrate staff who demonstrate exceptional dedication, professionalism, and a positive impact on our school community. By highlighting their contributions, we aim to foster a culture of appreciation, motivate excellence, and showcase the vital role employees play in the success of Craig County Public Schools.
Nominations are open to all staff members and they are encouraged to submit nominations for colleagues whose performance reflects dedication and has a positive impact on students, coworkers, and the broader school community. Specifically, employees are nominated for embodying our core values:
Excellence
Accountability
Collaboration
Integrity

Our September Employee of the Month is a recent addition to the CCPS family, but has already made a lasting impact. This person has quickly made a significant and positive impact on our school community. Their leadership, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to both students and staff are evident in every aspect of his work. Whether supporting instruction, mentoring students, or ensuring smooth daily operations, this person exemplifies the values of excellence, integrity, and dedication that define our district. Their approachable nature, consistent presence at school events, and genuine care for fostering a positive and supportive school culture have strengthened the Rocket community.
Craig County Public Schools is proud to announce Mr. Dave Dunstan as our September Employee of the Month. His hard work and unwavering commitment to our mission are greatly appreciated and do not go unnoticed. We are proud to have him as an integral member of our team. Thank you, Mr. Dunstan!

Then came the game. Our Rockets brought the heat and won big in front of a packed home crowd. 🥳

Congratulations to:
